BuildDocs Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using BuildDocs ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the App.
2. Description of Service
BuildDocs is a mobile application that provides document generation tools for construction field workers. The App allows users to create, store, and share various construction-related documents including but not limited to daily logs, timesheets, incident reports, safety reports, RFIs, and other field documentation.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all information you enter into the App
- Verifying that generated documents comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
- Ensuring documents meet OSHA, building code, and other regulatory requirements
- Consulting with qualified professionals (attorneys, engineers, safety experts) before using documents for legal or compliance purposes
- The legal validity and enforceability of generated documents
- Maintaining the security of your device and account
4. No Professional Advice
The App does NOT provide legal, construction, safety, regulatory, payroll, or professional advice of any kind. The App is a document generation tool only. All computed values, including but not limited to overtime calculations, hour summaries, and cost totals, are estimates provided for convenience and may not comply with applicable laws. You should consult with qualified professionals for advice on legal, construction, safety, payroll, or regulatory matters. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and legal compliance of all documents and calculations produced by the App.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Create false, fraudulent, or misleading documents
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Transmit harmful code or malware
- Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the App's security
6. Intellectual Property
The App and its content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of documents you create, but grant us a license to use anonymized, aggregated data for improving the service.
7. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the App developers, owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
